Class Description

Our teachers use the traditional method of hands on guidance to help our students into their best expression of asana (yoga posture).  This method ensures that every student receives an intimate, personal and authentic experience.  It relies upon trust between student and teacher and nurtures all levels from a very beginner to the more experienced.     Each practice is tailored to the needs of the individuals in class on a particular day.  One may encounter a slower paced class with newer students or a full traditional paced class with more practiced students. Regardless of experience anyone can benefit and enjoy the sense of support and motivation that only practice within a varied group can provide.



Mysore style

Is a self-paced practice open to all levels and every student will progress in a linear method of one posture at a time.  Each successive pose is taught upon proficiency with the last. 
 Every student is given a pratice tailored to their own unique strengths and limitations 
within the Ashtanga yoga framework.  All levels practice in a group environment drawing
 motivation and support from fellow students.  Class time runs two hours 7-9 pm.  Drop in whenever but be sure to budget enough time to complete the practice by 9 pm.
